ALWAYS TODAY

As I walk to find my way home
trying to recall what was forgotten
Above the clouds, the sun glares
shielding my eyes with a hand
over my eyebrows

Rambunctious wind
like a child wanting his way
whistling across the open field
As I skip over the shadows
of rolling clouds

Bow your heads
tall wild weeds of virgin
feel his weight upon you
As he plucks your buds
to carry forth your seeds of life
