So here are some random thoughts about the past week, I'll try to do national as well as Chicago. The Blackhawks and the Red Wings with a trip to Lord Stanly's Cup on the line. Should be fun for my young Hawks, flying with the giants so quickly. Love the fact how Todd Stroger, City council Prez vetoed a tax repeal, yet owes the IRS 12,000 in back taxes. A Massive reform bill is in the IL Legislature right now, the one chance for sweeping change with this reform minded Gov, Pat Quinn are going down the toilet, I hate the politicians of this state. Yes, before anyone starts talking shit, I know these people I am bitching about are Democrats, Before you run your mouths, Remember the the last Republican Gov George Ryan is in prison so keep your mouths shut. I am hoping some Independents can gain some ground in the next elections, fuck both parties in this state. Another thing that pisses me off is that Obama is holding those same tribunals that went under under our old buddy W. Obama is breaking a campaign promise right there and that is kind of a big one. I have not been happy with the massive spending, despite what most of the morons on this site think, but this is something that really pisses me off. America stands for higher ideals than that. I am all for trying these people but according to the standards of international law. This is my take on Obama so far. I feel that since this guy inherited the most garbage since FDR plus two wars, I am going to give him four years without making all these rush to judgment comments on how good/bad a job he is doing. i am also not saying this administrations is doing. I just feel like I voted for this guy, I believe in him and his mission he outlined for America. Sure med, he is not my Messiah, I have not heard people refer to him as such except for the idiots on this site. He is not my Messiah, I don't waste my time with such nonsense. As for Manny apologizes to his teammates, too little too late you chump. Drew Peterson, the Chicago suburb cop who epitomizes the word scumbag, your going down for the women you murdered. I thought IL had a shitty run on Governors till i heard what the yo yo from Texas was saying about succession. amusing. Personally, I would be all for most of the old Confederacy to leave the United States. I don't feel places like LA, MS, AL, really contribute that much to the USA, besides lots of backs wards people who are so brainwashed on the ways. Anyways Fuck it, that is an article for a later time, I gtg! peace and love always Ryan the Great |

I agree .....A Louisiana driver was stopped and detained for having a "Don't Tread on Me" bumper sticker on his vehicle and warned by a police officer about the "subversive" message it sent, according to the driver's relative.

Waiting 4 years might be to late. I stood up against G. W. Bush on the issues I disagreed with him on. But for my children's sake I can't stand by silently while this runaway spending continues.
On a side note, how do you feel about congress refusing to hold an inquiry into the alleged embezzlement of Stimulus funds by ACORN officials?

Yes, before anyone starts talking shit, I know these people I am bitching about are Democrats,
This I will not give you any shit over in fact I applaud you for it. You must police your own party and by all means let your voice be heard. Call and write your elected representatives and remind then whom they work for.

I was really surprised by this. I guess he listened to the people on this one.
How do the people feel about all this? According to Rasmussen:
Only 36% of voters support closing GITMO; 75% of voters do not want GITMO detainees released into the United States;
64% of Democrats and 76% of independent voters do not want GITMO detainees released here.
74% oppose giving them taxpayer money if they are released into the United States;
Only 28% of voters thought releasing the CIA memos was the right thing to do;
Only 28% of voters want more investigations of Bush-era security policies;
and A Gallup poll found that 61% of Americans who have closely followed the interrogation story felt that the “harsh techniques” were justified.

I have not been happy with the massive spending,
Its all good we will simply go back to the tax and spend tactics of the Carter administration to counterbalance it. Did you know they are planning on raising tax on investment income? I guess all those senior citizen living day to day off their 401Ks won't mind.

We are not going any place. The South will rise as the new leaders of America, the Masters! But on a serious note, this is not about succession, it is about States rights, peoples rights. Amendment X
I agree with AB. The federal government is really overstepping their bounds. Somebody really needs to explain to the big "O", that liar (Madam Speaker) and dirty Harry what federalism is.

Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
We are going to take our rights back. We are not going to let any more of our rights go and we are taking rights back. Love the rule of law.

"From each according to his ability to each according to his need." Karl Marx
Does this mean that Mr. "Oh.bomb.ah", is a Marxist?
Don't think about the vote you cast, for him, and hurry up to pay them taxes!
"It is only going to get worse." The Messiah has said so! He would not lie would he.

I knew he would not let them go. He played you guys like a violin is played in the back woods hills. The man is young and dumb but he did fool enough people to get elected. Give him time and you will call him the second coming of Mr. "W.baa.U"!

That mine. I'm sorry not sure why that was Anonymous
