My hats off to the protesters in Iran for standing up for themselves. Nice to see People in other parts of the world call "Bullshit". though it failed and it looks like they ayatollah has won this round, hopefully the seeds of revolution have been planted to overthrow those Zealots nut jobs who are in power. On to Iraq, nice to see the Iraqis taking control of their cities after 6 years, hopefully our occupation is ending and we can get our troops home from a war we should have never fought in the first place. In Chicago, here's betting that Mayor Daley is going to be in hot water over the parking meters, for those not in the know, He leased them to a private company for 75 years at a fraction of what they are worth, and people here are PISSED! Then he pledges that the city will pick up any cost over runs on the Olympics (if we get them). This coming after they promised no taxpayer dollars would be spent on the games. I would love to have the Olympics here, it would be great for Chicago and the U.S.A. but not if taxpayers have to foot the bill. Speaking of annoyances, this site attracts far to many conservative, religious fucks. Personally i have no use for organized religion and think that those we do are sheep, but that's o.k, it is what it is. Religion is just another form of control, most of the violence and hate in this world is due to religion. i challenge anyone to say otherwise. look at your history how many wars were started because of religion? how many people have died in the name of god. normally i don't give a shit what people believe, if they could just keep quiet. Watch Bill Mara's Religlious, you will see where I am coming from.Let's see what else i got. looks like this won;t be the Cubs year (again) but there is always hope they will get their shit together. Fuck Milton Bradley and Kevin Greg, they both are garbage. One makes excuses (Gregg), and one is just an asshole (Bradley), who are costing our team badly, destroying all that nice chemistry we had going last year. Just for the record, I can tolerate any belief system. My family is mostly some strain of Christianity, and I love them. I have friends who are from all walks of life. The one exception being Scientology , sorry but that is not a religion, it's a cult. Again believe what you want, but I will use every outlet I have to say that organized religion is "dangerous and silly".
What would shake me is, if, the alien was GOD.

I say think what you want, just don't expect me or the people who like me, have no use for relgion. If you think I'm the only person in the United States who thinks like this, well your in for a shock.
Do I think Religion is bad? not all of it, there are some great lesson in the Bible, Koran, Old Testament. But if you believe everyhting in those books, good for you, but i'm not buying.
Religion is a way to keep people in line, populations in check, used as a cover for pogroms that have killed millions of people. But it;s ok if it happens in the name of god? Please. Sorry but I'm not buying.
