Rob, have you heard anything?

Rob, I am waiting for results of their findings.

After repeatedly hearing this story over the news, I began imaging that police would find the killer, who would then be publicly executed. Why is it again that we don't publicly execute the convicted? I realize convictions take time. Right to trial, etc., all that is fair. But cases like this just make me think of the days when the killer was found and killed, period. This case, I'm sure, makes everyone want to see the killer die. I suppose the death penalty is inline on this one.

The only thing wrong with the death penalty is the death row convicts are kept separate from general population. If they every catch this monster I him/her to be raped daily not sitting in solitary for 23 hours a day. I don’t believe there is any punishment that would be considered “cruel and unusual” when someone murders a child. I’m kind of taking this one personal because it happened in my proverbial backyard. My sons go to that school and Somer’s family only live a less them a half mile away. On a side note I it’s still beyond my comprehension why the seven year olds are walking home alone.

I was thinking! Here's something that parents do in a certain school in San Deigo (elementary). For kids that have to walk to and from school, parents get together and either drive or walk with the kids to school. They take turns doing this and that ensures the kids always have an adult(s) with them. If you live away from the main stream then there's no choice but YOU the parent(s) have to take them yourselves. Getting together and making arrangements with other parents is the key folks. Communication! Parents, you be home waiting at the bus stop!

According to the news, the area where she lived has over a hundred sex offenders. I am not saying that they did it because, it could be anybody. Here's the thing, the people who do this kind of crime to kids are gravely ill. To the kids who are defenseless and strength nothing to compare to adults. I do not defend or support this kind of crime.......

Guys...Take are of your own kids because nobody will! If they have to catch the bus then walk them and wait with them until that bus comes. And, you better be there when that bus comes home! No more crap from these kinds of stories. I mean, haven't we learned anything? I was over protective with my sons in their young days. And it is because of avoiding something like this. This is just one story, the other is when the parents themselves kill their own. I won't talk about that now. Too many deaths lately due to unnatural causes.
