Impeach President Obama

Yep, like others out there, I've received the "Impeach Obama" chain e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with it, here's an excerpt: Enough is enough. We're calling for the Impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama. And if you agree, you can join us right now. This effort is wacky, as far as I'm presently concerned. If destroying the "fabric" of our country is Obama's crime, I'd be interested in knowing impeachment petitioners' true definition of fabric. Sad to say, many would base that on ethnicity, tradition, religion, or some other subjective, short-sighted view. As for becoming a socialist regime, that's rather absurd. Most of the individuals screaming this are in one or more ways in need of the programs, whether health care or monitoring of large finance institutions and credit practices. They're just screaming like the Old South screamed during the Civil War---illogical arguments at all costs to sustain their "traditional" viewpoint on the country. Regarding the petition effort in general, Bush would have received 10 times the petitions from not just the USA but the world, but that wouldn't have made a difference either, which is, in part, why Obama was elected. I think instead of wasting time on the petition, these people should read factual info and THINK versus passing chain e-mail that is largely hearsay and conspiracy entertainment. Take Michael Moore's movie "Fahrenheit 911": if factual it would have been enough for impeachment and beyond for Bush. Therefore, in contrast to the Bush conspiracies that were around previously, these exaggerations of Obama's leadership of the country and the conspiracies, you'd think, would pose a less severe consequence than calling for impeachment or even death, as the Facebook pollster recently incited. However, add Obama's race in there and you get an entirely different reaction to accusations far milder than the worse of conspiracies regarding Bush. It's true that a large part of America resents Obama's ethnicity. This fact shouldn't be a surprise. Think about how people reacted during the Civil Rights movement and other progressive movements. ![]() Well, Obama's presidency is an equally progressive movement as he's the first black president. These outlandish conspiracies are not fooling anyone... the true motivation for much of the opposition is clear. If Clinton were in office, the right's arguments would have quite a different shape.

Show Oldest FirstImpeaching President Obama might happen?
Why is this possible do you ask? Well, there are some snippy little people who over the years have been stroked by his surge of power since ACORN, etc. Then there are many who have been stoked by his glamor and fame of rising power and quality of statesmanship, communication and good appeal, etc.
However, what alarms me the most is the 2.5 million dollars he has paid attorneys & army of legal assistants to stop any investigation into the birth certificate, etc. (Is it Hoax?)
He received loans as a foreign student, (different name also)
then he suddenly changed his natural first-born name! Then he
has suddenly (new money + funds) to travel with no link to the
people or nations or governments or people who paid for this?
It is difficult that the Democratic party has allowed this one
incident to continue for so long and be ignored. The people of our US deserve to know facts! We deserve to dig + find the real truth about this (sudden winner) politician, etc.
The bigger the lie - the easier it is to get away with it!
Action has been brought before the "Supreme Court" and it has
just been documented that this action will be heard. That is
the Court will hear and consider all facts presented before it
to determine if Obama is legally qualified to be US President.
I am holding my breath because if the truth becomes a fact that he is not a US born citizen there could be a scandal of
gigantic size in store for all politicians, etc.
As citizens we should watch this development with interest!
Lawyers VS Lawyers!!!
Well put.
I don't think that all of Obama's opposition is racist. However, from personal observation, mere speculation if you will, I believed that much of his opposition, especially from the less informed, could do without the fact that Obama is not white. However, that was then; before and after the election, the tensions could be felt. At this time, I will agree that our president's race is not as prevalent of an issue, at least not in the public square.
As for Obama screwing the country, I see it differently. Actually, I can sincerely say that as his plans for change manifest, most of which call for increasing the public well-being, I feel like we're experiencing a legacy in the making.
Could I end up eating these words? Sure. But there's no need to stress over that possibility when I'm content as an optimist. It's nice to finally read news stories that shed light on the dark, unquestioned practices of certain entities of former years, since the previous experience entailed reading about the prosperity many of these same entities.

Obama should have never been elected. For one, he lacks the experience needed to lead this country. I am not going to go into why he is not qualified and his views being wrong in this comment. But, I can guarantee you, it has NOTHING to do with his race or religion! It's ridiculous that every time a person has anything of value to say against what he is doing, that you must play the race card. Pretty sad too! I would say that it's ignorant to believe anyone who opposes him is a racist, just as anyone who is a bigot is ignorant.
I don't think impeachment is constitionally based; but, he is gonna screw up this country and all who believe he is doing the right thing will be eating their words.
I agree with you Marc and Rob. julita
No, I don't think you'd be racist as long as you're informed of Obama's agenda. But for people that no nothing of the details and just hate to hate, then there's a good chance race could be a factor. It just amazes me how people that Obama's ideas would help are the same people that either don't realize that or just hate because of a more important reason (important to them), whether that be race or partisan affiliation.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Now with that being said I'm I still a racist if I question Obama's character and those who he surrounds himself with? Like Obama said "You can put lipstick on a pig"

I have to partly agree with you. The constitution calls for the impeachment process only in cases of “High Crimes and Misdemeanors.” Neither of these has happened with either Bush or Obama. What I am sick of is the race card that always seems to find its way to the top of the deck. For me it’s about my political and social beliefs. I’m a conservative that leans toward Libertinism/Federalism on most issues. So how do you feel about the blacks that call black Republicans “uncle toms?” As long as the race card is on the table, how do you feel about people like Anthony "Van" Jones? He may be gone but the mentality or the current administration that allow him to pass the vetting process is still there. Nice touch with the picture but the only thing that Obama has in common with DR. King is his color.

Hi there. Impeach? They tried to do the same thing to Former President Bush but, won another round. Could it be that the most hated is the most successful. As for race, look deep into your own skins. Bloods have married it's too late and forget about being racially opinionated. Any rights to this country should be to the Native Indians. Everyone else, we can all go back to our own countries. That folks! Will solve all kinds of problems. Health care...etc.etc.etc.
