I was channel surfing last night and stumbled upon Oreilly, Haggarty or one of those political commentators that I rarely pay attention to. What caught my attention was the message back splash that said "I will hunt you down, your family, and children. Give back the money and then kill yourself." He then commented on the message stating something to the effect..."As bad as the AIG situation is, this has gone too far. We as Americans should show higher standards of behavior and not stoop to this violent mob mentality..." I was totally blown away. This is not some minor traffic violation. This is the life blood of hard working Americans that was stolen for generations to come. Clearly this commentator did not get burned. Let see what "Haggerty's" comments are if 35 years of his savings vanished. What if he were laid-off due to budget cut-backs. What if that lack of employment now prevented him from making his mortgage payment. I wonder how he would feel when he realized his retirement plan went up in smoke. Now that he were unemployed he couldn't afford medical insurance and became critically ill. I guess he should just give up and die because, well, some pompous douche bag says violence is not the answer. You think "Haggerty" that this is all fun and games and the AIG people should be subject to the due process of law? Where were their sense of morals when they perpetrated this criminal scheme. They had the foresight to initiate this plan, they absolutely had the foresight to expect dweebs like you to come to their defense. Not to mention half of them are lawyers. I can only say that when I think of AIG, corrupt politicians, and crooked stock brokers, I visualize all of our national wealth having been funneled to offshore bank accounts and the scammers sitting on mega yachts in some Caribbean port drinking $800 bottles of champagne, with a half dozen hookers, who takes a crap on his gold plated toilet and then wipes his ass with our hundred dollar bills. And you should too, because that is what is happening. As history repeats itself, this revolution is not going to be ended by a detached political commentator attempting to appease to the ethical side of humanity. Your comment, "Haggerty" is equivalent to "Let them eat cake." and in my opinion when the people get organized enough to perform public executions I hope to see your head to be one of the first to role. |

Show Oldest FirstI'm assuming your referring to Sean Hannity.

Ok so you’re condoning death threats to AIG employees and their families? Even people who did not receive a bonus and had no direct impact on the success of the company have been the recipients of these threats. These modern day lynch mob attitudes are going to result in innocent blood being spilled. The first amendment guarantees the right of the people to peaceably assemble but once death threats are made then there is a line crossed. Additionally who is organizing these bus trips to people’s private residents and how are they being funded?
I guess he should just give up and die because, well, some pompous douche bag says violence is not the answer.
Whether a person moves on a recovers the best they can or remains bitter and blames everything, including bad choices and poor investment choices (which is why 35 years of savings would vanished because if it were true savings they would be covered by FDIC). No matter what the case violence is never the answer. This mentality is the same as what a child abuser or the wife beater uses to justify their actions. The end does not justify the means.
You think "Haggerty" that this is all fun and games and the AIG people should be subject to the due process of law?
Sen. Christopher Dodd wanted to include in the stimulus bill that would prevent these bonuses but the Obama administration directed him remove it and to add language that would allow these bonuses. So these bonuses were 100% within the guidelines that were established. But when the press caught wind of it the big “O” had to do some damage control. How can he claim ignorance of these bonuses when they were written into the stimulus? I agree these AIG people should have been afforded the due process of law. However they were subjected to a 91 % tax even though their was nothing preventing them. Since our congressional leadership has failed us lets tax their income at 91%.

I truly feel sorry for you because you obviously are very bitter and delusional and desperately need professional help.
