| This is going to be short and sweet, I'm on vacation and have better things to do. So....... Just wanted to say Thanks to Arlen Spector for coming to his senses and leaving the GOP for the democrats, nice work, old timer. with him and Al Franken being sat on our side, I believe that gives the Democrats 60 votes in the Senate, enough to override any vetoes the assholes in the GOP throw out. Normally I would be worried about one party having so much power in our country but after living through the Bush years and seeing the abuse of power the moron from Texas and his cronies commited, I can live with it. But let's be fair. Why would someone switch parties like that? It must be the Sen Spector, like me sees the GOP as nothing more than a regional party, namely the South and one which is quickly losing touch with Americans, except that is the hard core conservative, gun obsessive, anti abortion in all it's forms, and super religious zealots who make Islamic radicals look good. Man I have to say it's nice. it's nice that we are dong things differently than just the same old tired way. So, for everyone who doesn't think like me, again shut the fuck up! obviously, if you guys were so right, then all those people would not have voted blue in the last election. my advice? keep reading your bible, hold onto your guns, and just sit on your porches and cry about the downfall of America. I promise you will be in the minority! peace out losers, cry into your guns and onto your precious bibles! I have to admit, I enjoy being this harsh, in light of Mr. Blount's ranting article on Shall01, I hope you realize that we don't have to lower ourselves to talking back to you because WE WON! I believe in Obama, it is a relief to see someone with a plan, breathing fresh life into our nation at a time when we so badly need it. I believe W and his morons fucked us up so bad, I'm willing to give OBama a free 4 year pass to get our nation back on track. I feel it was the GOP and conservatives who fucked our country in the first place, something morons like you do not seem to get. As for the Pizza, I'll take mine with Garlic, spinach and ground beef, but anytime you want to come to Chicago and grab a slice, it will be on me. That is about the best I can do. I'm not sure of how to respond to your writing. Are you trying to stir thing up for fun, or are you just a left wing loon using the typical profane, name calling tactics as a means of making an unsubstantiated point? Of course, coming from a state that is known for its corruption and political criminals is enough to give any strong, opinionated patriot the vapors!

As for Spector, his change was purely for selfish reasons. He was losing by almost 20 points in the Republican primary. How can he be attracted by Democratic values when no one knows what they are!
As a conservative, I agree the Republicans lost their way and deserved to lose, but giving BO a free ride, is far too dangerous. His training-on-the-job during a mind boggling, critical time in history, takes my breath away. The press is supposed to be the watch dogs for the people. They’re not only in the tank for him. They’re literally in bed with him. I don’t care about his hamburger with Joe, or his dogs, or his basketball skills. He is the leader of the free world. This isn’t time for trial and error or celebrity making. It is time for bipartisan leadership. Loyal opposition is critical! Stuart Smalley, as the filibuster breaking vote, is pretty scary. We need to think what’s good for the country not for the parties. Look toward the future. Beating up on Bush is boring, passe and counterproductive. So stop the name calling, have a beer and a deep dish with sausage and peppers and burp!

Arrogant..sounds like you missed me. Sorry, my son is getting married at the end of the month, I've been busy. But, I do confess, I am a little worried about you. It seems that your delusions of grandiose are increasing and becoming more fanatical. My advice, go take a walk on the beach or enjoy one of our great state parks..it might relax you..get off of the computer for a while. It might do wonders for your psychosis. If that doesn't work, seek professional help..quick.

Your knowing the truth finally answers Pontius Pilot’s question so were able to accomplish lots in just a few sentences. As far I’m concerned you may say whatever you want; however you want. I was only trying to be a good guy and prevent you from getting athlete’s throat, a common disease caused by inserting one’s foot in ones mouth regularly.
I know you hate Bush, and I think Obama is the greatest propagandist since Joseph Goebbels. He is a far left activist posing as a centrist. He has an agenda of big government, anti business, entitlement heaven in the style of Rev Wright and Bill Ayers. The economic crisis gives him a perfect storm in which to execute it. Coming out of Chicago politics, he was a “urban organizer” who learned how to close the deal… kind of like Acorn. - say whatever as long as you get the vote. By the way, I noticed that Acorn was indicted again in Nevada. I think that’s the 15th state. Boy will be boys !
Now he has a check book with unlimited funds. 3.2 trillion - that’s’ counting to a million 3.2 million times. The stimulus hasn’t stimulated anything but his ego. Since he took office, we have lost several million jobs, ( promised to add 2.5 mil now he needs to 5mil) The tax cut is taxable to those who pay taxes. Chrsyler’s chapter was screwed up. GM is adding jobs… in Mexico. He won’t let the banks pay back the loans. Everyone’s taxes will be going up who invest especially those who run small companies- that will encourage job creation. Obama is dangerous because like most con men he is charming and knows what the folks want to hear - a great talent for selling driveway sealer. So say what you want about Bush. We had a good economy, and everyone made money (including the libs) for 6 years, then the Dem’s took over the Congress, and the country went into the shit house. The some of heroes in this magnificent event were Maxine “the scholar” Waters, Barney “Fanny and Freddy are doing fine” Frank and of course, Chris, “I didn’t get a break on my mortgage” Dodd. Chuck Schumer caused the run on IndeMac. Pelosi is a world class liar, and Dirty Harry Reid has his Nevada shady deals
I only hope we can make it to the next election so that the Dem’s can return to their rightful place in the bleachers where they can curse and whine their hearts out. You, Ryan the Grate can go back to being one of the “bleacher bums” for the Cubs. By the way, it’s a great play and movie, if you haven’t seen it, rent it. Peace and be nice !
