There is something about Sarah

It amazes me how Sarah Palin puts the left into drooling frenzy. They can’t even say her name without foaming at the mouth. “She‘s a idiot, stupid, an a embarrassment. She should go away. I can’t stand to look at her”… etc, etc, etc!! During the election, dozens of investigators roamed Alaska looking for the least amount of dirt - while Obama was barely vetted. Newsweek is running a cover story of her in mini skirt and sneakers with an article entitled, “How do you solve a problem like Sarah Palin” – a demeaning hit piece. She has written a book. So What! Isn’t that the way politicians and “celebs” put pots of gold in their pockets? The Clintons were given over $20 million in advances for their memoirs, proving the old adage that, “if you can’t be famous-be infamous.” Meanwhile, Sarah’s book is already presold. At her last book signing event, she drew 4000 people who paid $30 each just to see her. As an aside, has anyone noticed that 98% of the books on the NY Times best seller list are written by conservatives...but never reviewed! Now that's objective jounalism. Sarah’s book will definitely be a best seller. Her multi-city tour will be a smashing success. During the election, she drew crowds in the tens of thousands. What is going on? The answer is that it is not about Sarah, but the “disconnect” that has grown among the Media, Washington and the average American. Americans are frustrated that their voices are not being heard. The tea parties were under-covered by the media, and demeaned by the Obama administration. Washington’s spending is out of control. Medicare is being cut by $500 billion while the Obama administration is unearthing 1/6th of the economy with Health care reform. $700 billion was wasted on the stimulus. Cap and trade is going to coast billions. Taxes are going up for everyone. Yet unemployment continues to grow to over 10%. The real number is closer to 18%. Obama is on his 20th international trip giving the same apologetic speech instead of managing the country. Even among the independents who voted for him, the polls on his leadership are dropping like a rock. Meanwhile, the Republicans have no clear leader. Sarah is more closely aligned with average Americans values - smaller government, personal responsibility, superior military and a strong patriotic belief. They are sick of a nanny government attitude, Acorn, unelected Czars, apologetic speeches, the loons running the Congress, and a general redistribution of wealth. This is why the more the media and liberal pundits insult Sarah, the more popular she becomes. She is only a symbol of the discontent. I don’t believe she will run for President but continue to highlight the dangers of the liberal agenda. As an aside, how stupid can she be? - A mother, a mayor, a governor, a best selling author and soon to be a multimillionaire. She is doing a lot better than most of her critics and most of us. My advice is to sit back and relax. She isn’t going away. She is a fighter and for that she has my admiration. If you’re a liberal, I would worry more about the political earth quake that is building not Sarah. Obama ran as a moderate and is governing as a far left liberal. Not surprising since he was ranked as the most liberal voting senator. He speaking skills mesmerized us in to overlooking his shortcomings. Change is coming. Not from him but to him. Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice – shame on me. |

Show Oldest First"There is something about Sarah!" Re-reading this excellent article has given me more enjoyment than when I first read it.
It is so true, (as if the author could see into the future) of what is happening, etc. I say this is excellent reading!
No one can argue the facts which have been stated and the way Sarah Palin has been treated, etc. I look forward to reading a lot more from this author because his ideas are fresh and to the point.
Ryan29 - is a totally brainwashed Obama fan! No real inner desire to open-up his mind to fresh ideas and what is really going on. Shame on you, Ryan29 for your cheap-shot words!
Get your facts straight before you take-on someone who has done research past & present and can relate it to what is now going on in Obama's circle of influence, etc.
Reading; "There is something about Sarah" the second time was
more enjoyable than the first. Try it Ryan29 & be honest!
I look forward to reading more of cusa2 articles!

Sorry I must of clicked on anonymous by mistake. Thanks for the suggestion. It is the Christmas season. My tree could use some decoration. In any event, who but a member of your fan club would call you "Ryan the Grate"
actually, "anonymous( real ballsy)" worry about yourself and grow a pair before you critique me.
Now, now, Ryan the grate, Careful! You're showing your Degrees again
Sarah Palin is a complete fucking moron and you are too. This is not an opinion, just a simple fact.
I don't always agree with what I read but this article makes perfect sense to me. When you think about what you read do you simply agree or dissagree or do you allow the article of
subject to penetrate the pre-formed ideas of your past, etc.
This is fresh stuff. I enjoyed the thoughts the author has
shared with us. It is more than just an observation. It is one of the conclusions we have to understand, a never ending
story about our USA politics, etc.
Isn't that what politics are about. Laughing on the outside. Crying on the inside. BTW, I hope that I am wrong.
Your too funny.
shall01,
I know that you liberals like to blame everything on Bush but in 2005, the Senate Banking Committee then under Republican control, adopted a tough regulatory bill for Fannie and Freddie over the unanimous opposition of committee Democrats. The opposition of the Democrats when the bill reached the full Senate made its enactment impossible. If the Democrats had allowed the Fannie and Freddie reform legislation to become law in 2005, the entire financial crisis might have been avoided.
Obama knew exactly what he was getting into when he ran for president. Unfortunately, either he, or the people that he appointed had the experience or wisdom to fix the problem. My criticism is based on the belief that the Obama administration is using the financial crisis to pass every far left entitlement program they ever dreamed. As a result, the program cost will eventually dismantle capitalism as we know it, and replace it with a government controlled economy - first, fascism or the government takeover of private enterprise, then socialism, the redistribution of wealth though excessive taxation and government regulation.
As far as Palin is concerned, she is merely a symbol of the anger and frustration of the middle class over the government’s lack of response to their cries for fiscal restraint. Not to worry, the election next November will fix everything. I am predicting the largest conservative victory ever. Finally my reference to the Nazis is only to point out that they used propaganda and political correctness to convince the people that they were acting in their best interest – not too dissimilar to Obama’s double speak

"Ryan29 is brainwashed. Shame on you Ryan for your cheap shot words" Right....Stableman, here's an idea, read my thoughts concerning you on my issues with the GOP article. I have absolutely nothing to say to you. Now run along and play in traffic.
